My heart is longing for cooler temperatures and thick, cozy sweaters, but when your husband says, “Let’s go to Miami before my busy season hits,” you grab your swimsuit and hit the road!

This trip was so spontaneous that I just threw a bunch of clothes in my suitcase and crossed my fingers that I had what I needed.

What I love best about this palm leaf jumpsuit is that I can wad it up and throw it in a suitcase and not have to worry about wrinkles. It comes with a matching belt, but I took it off and replaced it with this one that paired perfectly with these wedges. It was perfect for the humid evening!

What does one wear to a NFL game where you don’t care who wins? I don’t know….so I wore polka dots. (Imagine that!) As you can see by this beautifully unfiltered picture, the sun was shining bright that day. Thankfully this little dress did not dissapoint as it provided plenty of breezes with this light-weight fabric. I paired it with sandals and a hat. (I wore this hat everywhere! You can’t even tell I was at the beach by looking at my face because this little hat provided the perfect amount of shade.)

If you have been here long at The Red Lip Society, you know I completely obsessed over this dress (it has pockets!!!) when I first got it. Every post was about this dress. I still love it just as much! And I’m not sorry one little bit. Paired it with some sneakers to run around town.
