There is just something about the Parisian style that I have always loved! I love that it looks effortless, but also extremely put together. It never goes out of style. Parisian style is equal parts casual and elegant. It is uber chic but livable.

Let’s put some looks together, shall we?

How many posts can I include your need for a classic trench? I don’t know, but answer how many licks it takes to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop and we might find out. I love this trench and it is a good price for an investment piece. For that go to “I’m a stylish French woman that is too busy to care about my appearance vide,” grab a horizontal striped tee or long sleeve like this one. Pair it with a pair of straight-leg pants and some ballet flats and you are ready for a day of exploring the City of Light.

I love a good blazer, this we know, and apparently, the always lovely Kate Middleton does as well (pictured above.) Pair a nice blazer like this one with a basic white tee. Throw on a pair of comfortable jeans like these and a pair of loafers. Are you seeing the theme of flats in Paris during the day? To give it that little je ne sais quoi, tie a pretty scarf with a pop of color around your neck.

You can’t go wrong with a classic black shirt like this one and a black pair of ankle pants. The look will make anyone feel like they are Audrey Hepburn in “Funny Face”. (If only I could dance as she does in that movie.). Finish this outfit off with a classic pair of cap-toe ballet flats and your look is complete.

All three of the looks we did today have a theme: they are neutral in color, simple in style, and look effortless. Those three things seem to be the key elements to achieving that Parisian style that some of us love so much!
