I so enjoyed watching some of my favorite fashion bloggers/influencers social feeds from New York Fashion Week 2022 this past week. I have never been but it looks like so much fun! I’m so thankful for the internet and social media where I was able to catch recaps of several shows.

Whether you are like me and like a more classic look to your wardrobe or maybe you like a more trendy look, you can take this upcoming season’s top looks and adapt them to your style.

So let’s get to it! Below are some Spring Fashion Trends for 2022.

We saw a lot of delicate tie details this week. They were on maxi dresses. They were on shirts. They were worn as chokers. Below is a very wearable top I found with this new trend.

I told you in my New Jeans Trends post last year that low-rise was going to make a comeback. And boy did it! It wasn’t just denim. It was skirts and pantsuits also! I’m pretty sure I had the exact pants shown below in every color they ever made fifteen years ago. I am so glad they are back! I can’t wait to add them back to my wardrobe.

Fringe isn’t just for western wear or a roaring 20’s party anymore! It was all over the runways! The dress below is a very easy add to your wardrobe. I can see it dressed up or down with just the change of a few accessories. Very wearable!

Cutouts are still hanging around from last year. Some of the looks on the runway were pushing the limits. I pulled a couple of street wearable options for us. Don’t be afraid of the risqué appearance of a new trend. You can usually find it in a modest style. If your body type is lean, the lbd below would be very modest but trendy. The pretty red number below would be a good option for some of us curvier sisters.

Do you like to shine and sparkle? Well you are in luck! Shine and sparkle are in, especially for our night looks. The metallic blouse below would be fun for girls night out but it could also be office appropriate under a blazer.

Who loves a big bag? This girl does! The little bags that have been so popular lately are so cute, but for my life they are just not practical. I have to schlep all of my stuff around with me. The bag below would be extremely versatile and not break your debit card.

Some other trends I saw?

I felt like I saw a lot of bright, bold colors being worn head to toe. I feel like I especially saw a lot of purple.

Gloves! I feel like I saw a lot of gloves.
